Buying and selling any car can be tricky even when you know it's value and finding "used car prices" for H-Bodies can be difficult to say the least. My advice is for you to consult your bank or insurance company first. They'll have a used car price guide and usually let you use it free of charge. If they don't have one, visit your local library and ask for the current NADA Classic, Collectable, and Special Interest Car Appraisal Guide. As an example only, I have a nearly complete list of H-Body prices to use as a baseline for your H-Body. You'll notice the absence of several highly prized and rare H-Bodies such as the Buick Nighthawk, Chevrolet Monza Spyder, Chevrolet Monza Mirage, and Oldsmobile Firenza. It is a real dilemma determining the value of the Nighthawk, Spyder, Mirage, or Firenza and I would suggest reviewing the Cosworth Vega prices as a guide. Just remember, that often these vehicles are worth more to a true H-Body collector than they are to the average person. This can work for or against you, depending on your position.
