These motor mounts have been specially designed by Bob Gumm to replace your factory V8 Monza engine mounts. Factory V8 Monza mounts are no longer available at your local parts store and even if you can find them you'll pay over $200.00 for them. Our mounts were designed using factory mounts as a template and with economical replacement costs in mind. After just a few months original mounts begin to sag, but not our mounts. Our mounts are designed to use an off-the-shelf mount that by design resists sagging. When these mounts finally do need replacement, you can pick up a replacement mount at your local parts store for about $10 each. Take a look at this photo of our mounts. Remember, because these mounts maintain their original form they'll give you back the clearance between your oil pan, K-frame and steering components. Some customers have reported reduced clearance between the engine and hood with these mounts. Not that our mounts are taller, it's just that the original mounts sag so badly that the engine eventually sat lower. Some folks who had the old sagging mounts had installed performance induction systems that just cleared the hood. Our mounts bring the engine back up to where it should be and as a result there is less clearance between some induction systems and the hood. (NOTE: OCCASIONALLY STOCK RUNS OUT DUE TO UNFORESEEABLE EVENTS. ITEMS MAY NOT SHIP IMMEDIATELY AND CAN TAKE UP TO 2-4 WEEKS FOR SHIPPING.) Remember, these mounts will also require the factory V8 frame plates to be used on non-factory V8 installations.

Designed for the 1971-74 Vega, engine mounts and transmission mount only. For 3 speed, 4 speed, powerglide or 350 turbo. Hooker Headers P/N 2129 DO NOT FIT with these mounts. Since Hedman P/N 68340 are similar to the Hooker P/N 2129s, I doubt they'll fit either. If I find out different, I'll post the info here. I am unsure if Hooker Headers P/N 2135 will clear the Don Hardy mounts or not, my guess would be that they do, but if anyone does successfully use that combination I'll post the info on the web site. These parts are shipped directly from Don Hardy Race cars Inc.

Designed for the 1971-74 Vega, includes headers with reducers, gaskets and bolts, frame adapters and transmission cross-member for 3speed, 4 speed, powerglide or 350 turbo. Pictorial instructions also included. Headers have 1 5/8" primaries. Some have had success using these on the Chevy Monza too, others have reported some difficulty using the mounts on later model H-Bodies (1975 - 1980). I have not tried the Don Hardy mounts, but it would seem to me that it would not be too difficult to get them to work. Many have reported that simply installing spacer plates (like those used in factory 4-cylinder installation) between the Hardy mounts and the unibody will allow use of the Don Hardy kit in the 1975-80 H-Bodies. If you don't have the 4-cyl plates, you should be able make simple spacer plates out of 1/4 to 3/8 steel. These parts are shipped directly from Don Hardy Race cars Inc.
